Welcome to our FAQ page. Here you’ll find answers to most of the frequently asked questions about RASA Studios and our projects. If you’re unable to find your answer here, please contact us via or social media or email us directly using our Contact page.
How do I purchase Minecraft content?
Minecraft Bedrock Edition contains the Minecraft Marketplace, where you can find content such as adventure maps, resource packs and skin packs to enhance your Minecraft experience. Purchasing any of this content is easy, and you can use it however you’d like with no additional payments or time limits. To do this:
Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition and sign into your Xbox Live Account. Any purchased content is linked to your account, not your device, so you can use it wherever you log in.
Click on the ‘Marketplace’ button and navigate the menu to find the piece of content that you’d like to buy.
Select your method of payment. The Marketplace uses virtual currency called ‘Minecoins’ which is linked to your Minecraft account. Any left over Minecoins will be added to your virtual wallet.
Wait for the purchase to complete. This shouldn’t take too long, but it depends on your internet connection.
Enjoy the content! Once you have purchased it, the download should start automatically. Any skins will be instantly available to you on the ‘Profile’ screen.
Why isn’t my map downloading?
Unfortunately, we can’t help you fix any issues with Minecraft itself, the best way to solve those issues is to get in touch with Minecraft support directly, which you can do here. In the meantime, try some of these troubleshooting options:
On the main menu, click ‘Settings’. Navigate to storage, where you will see an option for “Cached Data”, “Worlds” and “World Templates”. Check each of these for data relating to the map in question, and delete them using the menu options. Once you have done this, try re-downloading the map and seeing if your issue is solved.
Restart Minecraft.
Check to see if you have enough storage on your device - if you definitely do, try rebooting the device and retrying the download.
Can I participate in a show?
Most of our shows are recorded far in advance, and we tend to cast within a small circle of RASA Studios members and friends. However, we may put out a casting call for future shows. The best way to stay up to date is to keep an eye on our social media.
Can I be a part of your team?
We’re not currently looking for new team members, however keep an eye on our social media as we will always post there when we open up applications.
How do I become a Minecraft partner?
In order to become a Minecraft Partner, you need to apply through the application process on Microsoft’s website. You can find out more here.
