RASA Studios Ltd. are responsible for deciding how we hold and use any personal information that we gather about you. By using our website, you agree to the terms laid out in this policy, as you may fill in a form that may contain personal information. This policy makes you aware of how and why your personal data will be used, and how long it will be retained for. It also provides you with information that must be provided under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In connection to your communication with us, we will collect, store, and use the following personal information about you:

  • Any information you have provided to us in a team application form or contact form, including name, personal email address, online aliases, video game username.

  • Any information collected through the use of cookies on our side, including information about your browser, network and device, web pages you visited prior to visiting this website, your IP address.

We will collect personal information from our website forms or through Squarespace Analytics.

How we use your information

We will use the personal information we collect about you to:

  • Keep records related to our maps or team.

  • Comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

  • Gather analytics information to further improve our website.

Data sharing

Any personal information gathered through our forms, such as contacting us, will not be shared with any third parties. We will share analytics data with Squarespace, our website analytics provider, to learn about site traffic and activity.

Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, or altered or disclosed. We limit access to your personal information to our volunteers, employees and third parties who have a need-to-know. Your personal information will only be accessed subject to a duty of confidentiality. We will notify you of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

Data Retention

We may retain your personal information for a period of up to 6 months after your form is submitted. After this time, we will securely destroy your personal information, in accordance with laws and regulations.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to find out what information we store about you. These include the right to:

  • be informed about how your data is being used

  • access personal data

  • have incorrect data updated

  • have data erased

  • stop or restrict the processing of your data

  • data portability (allowing you to get and reuse your data for different services)

  • object to how your data is processed in certain circumstances

You also have the right to withdraw your consent to us processing your personal information at any time. To do this, please contact us at business@rasastudios.net. Once we have received this notification, we will dispose of your personal data securely and no longer process your form. You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues.
